As a returning customer, I already knew who I was going to call when my son asked me to organise a caterer for his wedding earlier this year. Of course, I phoned Spitting Pig Northern Ireland. This team of wonderful people already created the most gorgeous buffet for my mother’s 80th birthday party a few years back and it was a massive success. I promised the team that I would return.
I phoned the Northern Ireland team and explained to them that my son was getting married. Although it was short notice, they immediately sorted a menu out for me and ensured they booked me in for the following Saturday. This menu consisted of the most mouth-watering foods. They included sides of pasta salad, potato wedges, soft floured bread rolls and stuffing. And of course, the star of the show was the giant tender hog that they included in the attractive price.
The team arrived at my sons chosen venue in Portstewart, a small town in the gorgeous county of Londonderry. The two gentlemen began cooking and creating the most delicious aromas as soon as they had set up. As the guests arrived a few hours later, the food was ready. I queued up along with the 70 other guests and the happy couple and piled my plate with tender hog that was carved by the spitting pigs very own meat chef. Compliments were flying around the room as the friendly staff created a relaxed atmosphere for us all.
‘This meat is so juicy’ I heard my new daughter in law say as she finished her meal along with the rest of us. We were all delighted. I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed by the company as they always deliver.
At the end of the evening, the caterers served a desert of rich, chocolate brownie that just topped off a perfect day. The team cleaned away their work stations and left us to party the night away.
I will be returning to The Spitting Pig Northern Ireland next time I have party as I am considering hiring out on of their machines for myself, I know I will not be disappointed with the service.
