At Hog Roast Kilkeel, it is always our mission to deliver exceptional customer service and unbelievably good food at all sorts of events and occasions. And as 2022 comes to an end, our team has been working extra hard to ensure that our customers and clients end the year on a high note – and so, we’re delighted to share that November is off to a brilliant start!
Our team kickstarted the month with more Bonfire Night celebrations than we can count, one of which saw us travel outside of our usual vicinity to help one of our oldest clients, Ciaran, throw an incredible 5th of November party for all of his friends and family!
Guests came from far and wide to take part in the celebrations, which, of course, meant, there were lots of different dietary needs to be taken care of. From meat lovers to vegetarians, vegans and the gluten-intolerant, Hog Roast Kilkeel was tasked with assembling an inclusive menu that fit every palate. Having used our services multiple times over the years, though, Ciaran had every faith that our catering manager, Jamie, would wow him and his guests with an incredible spread!
Our team certainly didn’t disappoint, and for Ciaran’s party, Jamie and the Hog Roast Kilkeel gang rustled up our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which offered a choice of three sumptuous meats, a flavourful plant-based option and plenty of drool-worthy side dishes, which ranged from classic American-style mac and cheese to corn on the cobs with melting butter and light and leafy side salads.
The guests were in awe of the food and couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous flavours our team had presented them with. Our fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs were particularly popular among the meat enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the vegetarians and vegans were blown away by how authentically ‘meaty’ the entirely plant-based pulled jackfruit tasted!
Everyone was thrilled with Hog Roast Kilkeel’s tantalisingly tasty soul food, which kept them feeling warm and toasty while they sat under the dark skies and watched Ciaran’s private fireworks display into the late hours of the night.
