Earlier this October, Jamie and the Hog Roast Omagh team catered for a beautiful wedding at Breckenhill, which is a beautiful barn venue in Ballyclare. Our team was hired to provide our Southern Slow menu to 100 guests, which is an ideal choice since it includes a wide variety of main dishes. Additionally, Ruthie and her fiancé wanted to enjoy our incredible antipasti boards as a starter, which was a great twist on this classic menu.
On the day of the wedding, we began our menu by serving delicious antipasti sharing platters at each table. The platters included an incredible variety of dishes, including gourmet meats and cheeses, fresh bread, breadsticks, olives, and a selection of dips. This was an excellent way to begin the menu and allowed the guests to enjoy a variety of different delicious flavours. Following this, we served our delicious main course buffet-style to the guests. This course included succulent pulled pork, tender spareribs, and juicy Cajun chicken, as well as fresh bread rolls, corn cobettes, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Overall, this created a hearty and delicious main course, with more than enough to allow every guest to create a meal that was perfect for them.
Our catering was a great addition to Ruthie and her partner’s wedding day, and we wish endless happiness for the couple! Breckenhill was a beautiful venue with an enchanting and romantic atmosphere, and our team would love to work here again in future.
