We had the incredible honour of catering for a wedding that was become the union of two rock ‘n’ roll families – Tyrone Wood, son of the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, and Faye Harris, daughter of the iconic Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris.
From the moment Hog Roast Belfast arrived at the venue, we knew that this was going to be a day to remember. Guests who attended were of course, infatuated with the rock ‘n’ roll culture, and this was reflected through every detail of the event – from the soundtracks to the decorations and even, the cake!
As the band played and the drinks flowed, we fired up the roast, turning it into the perfect centrepiece for the gathering. We were asked to serve a classic hog roast buffet, where guests could tuck in at their own leisure and dance the night away. And it’s no surprise that our guests left five-star feedback for the feast. As usual, our slow-cooked hog was juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection, served alongside fresh salads, homemade sides, and crusty bread that paired perfectly with the smoky flavours of the roast. It was a real honour to receive such positive comments from rock stars!
As the night went on the dance floor filled with guests rocking out to tunes from The Stones, Iron Maiden, and other rock legends – and we couldn’t help but feel that we were part of a historical moment.
