Due to the ever-changing COVID restrictions, our rental option has seen a large influx in its bookings recently, and Alison was the latest to learn the age-old art of hog roasting. Having planned to invite some family over for the afternoon, the client was keen to 
provide some yummy food to keep their spirits up now that the weather has a bit of a bite to it, and the Hog Roast Pomeroy team were more than happy to help her out!
With only a handful of people set to attend the intimate gathering, our catering manager was quick to recommend serving a pork joint, rather than the whole pig. Alison was happy to go ahead with this decision, so, on the morning of the event, Hog Roast Pomeroy dropped off the cooking equipment, a gas canister and a package of fresh ingredients which would allow the client to cook up some side options too, which included warm new potatoes in herb butter, sweet potato fries and seasonal salad.
The Hog Roast Pomeroy team answered all of Alison’s last-minute questions before leaving her to get started on prepping the food.
Fast-forwarding to the following day, Hog Roast Pomeroy returned to collect the cooking equipment, and they were pleased to hear that Alison and her family had a wonderful time! The food was a huge hit, and the group had enjoyed munching away on the freshly cooked meat while sitting around the firepit.
