Lucas is a woodworker who hosts a variety of craft workshops for people of all abilities, ranging from beginners to fellow woodworkers. During the workshops, Lucas aims to create a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the customers, with music, clear teaching instructions, and plenty of refreshments. This August, he is hosting his first all-day workshop, which is necessary as the attendees are aiming to create their own coffee table. To be in keeping with the cosy and luxury atmosphere, Lucas has hired Hog Roast Castlereagh to cater for the occasion. We will be serving our classic hog roast menu, which will be perfect for enjoying during the lunch break. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Castlereagh team arrived at Lucas’ workshop in the morning and began to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. We started by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection for around five hours. Once ready, the pork was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Our menu was served buffet style, allowing everyone to enjoy as much of our catering as they wanted to. There was more than enough to go around and plenty of dishes to choose from, making it the perfect addition to the event.
